One nights stay for 3 adults- Rating 4/5

Fantastic wee hotel got us in last minute. Cozy rooms with bath so great after a hard days hike. Warm and friendly. Especially liked the tea and coffee with wee kettle set up.

Great value for the price. - Rating 4/5

Wonderful welcome from Coleen, what an asset for the Argyll.Beautiful room with a fantastic view.Just a few wee criticisms. We weren't as warm as we might have been in bed.The duvets are perhaps not of the greatest quality and, because the heating isn't the easiest to use, we were quite cold in bed. We ended up wearing our dressing gowns in bed, we were cold.Overall we found the Argyll great value for the price, the continental breakfast was everything we needed and we would certainly stay here again.

Great Views and Rooms - Rating 5/5

Perfect location near the water. The rooms and clean, spacious and have amazing views over the bay with big windows. The staff were very friendly and the complimentary continental breakfast was a good start to the day. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel - Rating 5/5

Great views and location for our trip around the North Coast 500 in an electric car. 50kw charger right in the car park. Lovely hotel, great, if a bit pricey restaurant but food was top notch.

Horrible - Rating 5/5

Receptionists more interested in gossiping with each other than welcoming guests. Also failed to tell us no breakfast would be provided and TV in room (nor any room) did not work.Gloomy decor, stained carpets, dead flies- need I go on?!The Argyll could be lovely but it most definitely is not at this moment in time.Horribly disappointing.

Entirely adequate - Rating 4/5

Few bells and whistles but an entirely comfortable stay. Spacious room with small ensuite shower. Excellent dinner in a cosy bar with a roaring fire.

Enjoyable Stay - Rating 5/5

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The hotel was cosy & comfortable, the staff were very friendly & accommodating. You had to go to their sister hotel The Ferry Boat Inn which is just over the road for breakfast. What a fabulous place for food! You get a continental breakfast with your room but can upgrade to a cooked 6(extra pennies but well worth it) Everything cooked fresh, the food was so good we ate there the 2 evenings we stayed. Again staff there so friendly and obliging. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to both The Argyll Hotel & The Ferry Boat Inn.

Lovely- Rating 5/5

In room 11 we had the most stunning outlook. We were made to feel very welcome and our Scottie dog too. The only thing we were sad about was no cooked breakfast available before we left because of short staffing but it’s the same all up and down the country in hospitality. (We cheered ourselves up with a lovely cooked one at The Pieron way home) I blame Brexit 100%. Ullapool is very beautiful, always has been but with their new front work improvements makes it so much more lovely. Thank you for our lovely stay 😊
